Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and client-centered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing team. Job Summary

The ideal candidate will provide individual, couples, and family therapy in a private practice setting. This role requires a dedicated, client-centered approach using various therapeutic techniques and interventions. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining a caseload, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and ensuring ethical and legal compliance in their practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide in office and virtual therapy to individuals, couples, and families with diverse needs (e.g., depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, grief, etc.).

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness-based therapy, and trauma-informed care.

  • Conduct regular client progress evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed.

  • Create a warm, supportive, and confidential therapeutic environment.

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and other mental health providers for integrated client care.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development, supervision, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Current, active state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Virginia.

  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (preferred, but not required).

  • Experience with individual, couples, and family therapy (preferred).

  • Knowledge and experience with evidence-based therapy modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).

  • Strong organizational and caseload management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and client confidentiality in a virtual setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse populations.

  • Specialization in trauma, addiction, grief, or couples therapy.

  • Interest in community outreach or facilitating group therapy sessions.
